Say hello to the new Angel! Eva Mendes has officially replaced Naomi Watts as the face of Thierry Mugler’s “Angel” ad campaign. Last night (June 23) during the launch event in New York City, both actresses came out in celebration and support of the fragrance, one which has become almost iconic over the last decade or so.

Eva says she is delighted to be the new face of the fragrance because she literally “grew up” with the 19-year-old scent.

She explained:

“I grew up with Angel. I remember thinking, as a child, ‘That’s what a woman smells like.’ I’m the baby in my family by 10 years, and my sisters wore it. It comes full circle now that I’d be the face of Angel.”
