Now that she’s royalty, Kate Middleton has access to the finest cars and a host of chauffeurs to take her wherever she wants to go.

And according to a report, a 2001 Volkswagen Golf that used to belong to the Duchess of Cambridge is going up for auction.

Sonny Brazil of Bucklebury, Berkshire, England is selling the car on eBay, and it’s expected to fetch a tidy sum.

Brazil explained, "I became quite precious about it and wouldn't let anyone else drive it," noting that he bought the automobile for $2,300 in 2009 and it’s now valued at $48,000.

Also included is a pair of cufflinks that was found in the car. "They might have been [Prince] William's or they could have belonged to [Kate’s brother] James."
