Celeb Fashion » Tyra Bank Reveals New Novel, Talks "Top Model"

Stopping by for a media appearance, Tyra Banks visited "Good Morning America" in New York City today (July 21).

The 37-year-old supermodel took to the early show to promote her debut novel "Modelland," which is the first of a three-part series.

The book, which unravels in a fantasy land, centers around a super-exclusive school that turns out supermodels called "Intoxibellas" - specifically focusing most of the text on four girls who made their way into the prestigious establishment despite their unconventional looks.

Tyra also dished about the forthcoming 17th season of "America's Next Top Model," detailing all the drama that it has in store for viewers, "I have girls from cycle one until now - the fan favorites. I am editing the show right now and it is crazy. They are all these Type A personalities because you are getting the best of the best and they are effervescent and they pop," she told host Robin Roberts.

Banks then hinted to the new challenges this crop of potential runway women will have to endure, telling, "I have them singing songs, doing music videos, creating perfumes... You can't just be a model anymore."

The former Cheetah Girl worked her magic on the catwalk inside The Raleigh as part of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2012 festivities in Miami, Florida.

And it sounds like Ms. Bailon had a case of the nerves prior to strutting her stuff- she took to her Twitter page to request prayers from her fans.

Adrienne tweeted, “Today is the day folks... Say a lil prayer for me. All I see in my head is the ‘Fashion Road kill’ episode of Sex & The City! Ha!”

The “New Moon” babe looked lovely as she exited the West Hollywood eatery to find shutterbugs surrounding her car.

Earlier in the day, Ashley was in Beverly Hills where she attended a photo shoot, carrying her laptop and a water bottle as she arrived.

Ms. Greene is also featured in a Mark cosmetics commercial with the theme “Lash All You Want.”

Getting styled up to check out on of this summer's blockbusters, Vanessa Hudgens attended the "Captain America: The First Avenger" Los Angeles Premiere on Tuesday evening (July 19).

The "Sucker Punch" sweetheart hit the El Capitan Theatre red carpet clad in an adorable short 'n sexy frock while flaunting her just-shortened coif and a big smile at the Tinseltown fete.

Recently talking about her new hairdo - which she cut for her role in "Gimme Shelter" - Vanessa dished, "It's unrecognizable. Even when I'm like kind of done-up, I look in the mirror and I'm like, 'I don't know who that is.'"

She continued, "It was shocking, but at the same time so exciting. Now it gives me the opportunity to be able to step out of what people see me as and allows to them to get out of their heads and be able to just experience the film."

Asked to rate the drastic new look, the 22-year-old answered, "On a scale of 1 to 10, I'm going to say, like, an 8, only because there was no smoking or drinking or drugs that my character did. And there's no sex...that you see."
